FishbowlDC Meets FishbowlLA
Yes, every journo who’s anywhere near “The Beltway” or really any beltway – immediately assumes we are our DC counterpart Betsy Rothstein. When we say we work for Mediabistro they mumble something about David Weigel and then stop looking us in the eyes. Yeah, it’s weird. Anyway, FBLA and FBDC met on a dark and rainy night in DC somewhere around some neighborhood named after a circle (as if that narrows it down). We had a long conversation on what it’s like to dish in the District – most of which (we hope) was off the record.
