Folio magazine just threw a party to honor the winners of its annual “Eddie and Ozzie” awards. Celebrating “the best in editorial and design excellence” in magazines, the awards were EXTREMELY comprehensive. The awards drew more than 2,000 entries, requiring over 100 judges to sort through everything. The list of Ozzie award winners for best design is 18 pages long, while the Eddie list for best editorial content clocks in at 31 pages. There were literally several hundred winners. Needless to say, we won’t be posting the whole list.

Trust us, there were more than a few local winners in the bunch–mainly in the entertainment categories. People and Us Weekly did quite well.
