Giuliani Raises Funds in Brentwood

Ambassador Rockwell Schnabel and Jon Liebman hosted the Rudy Giuliani fundraiser in Brentwood last night. Buzz Aldrin, Gary Sinese, Dyan Cannon, Jerry Bruckheimer, Lionel Chetwynd, Mike Antonovich, and around 100 others paid $2300 to hear Giuliani discuss national service, saying our soldiers fight an unpopular war yet have resolve is because they are there willingly. Lincoln and the mistakes made during the Civil War were also part of the speechifying.
The NY Times reports that he’s selling his investment firm, as part of increasing focus on his presidential campaign. His 21 year old son, Andrew, won’t be campaigning for dad, as his activities as a member of the Duke golf team keep him too busy.
The Hotline blog had reported that Brad Grey was raising money for Giuliani, and FBLA figures that someone heard “Brillstein-Grey” and didn’t realize Grey sold the company.
Giuliani started his California tour in Sacramento last month.
