If you want to feel important – like you really matter – go vote in today’s election. No one else will, so your opinion as to whether the mayor should actually have to campaign to get reelected or whether or not the incumbent city council person you’ve never cared about should stay the incumbent city council person you’ve never cared about counts as a higher percentage than usual.
The next time your vote will matter this much is jury duty.
