Good Hires New Executive Editor

Former Alternet and American Prospect editor Ann Friedman has officially been named the executive editor of Good and its various media platforms. The hire is the first of several huge changes currently underway at Good. But we’ll give you the scoop on that tomorrow.

Aside from her former editing gigs, Friedman is the founder of the Tumblr site Lady Jouros! and blogs for Feministing. You can check out her personal blog here.

Friedman tells Fishbowl LA she’s still at her home in Austin and won’t arrive in LA for another 10 days. She’d lived in Austin a grand total of two months–after four years in DC–before landing this gig.
