Gratuitous ‘Sopranos’ references: every time I think I’m out, they pull me back in

The new ‘Sopranos’ season begins this weekend, which means a) it’ll be easier to get a table at Jar for the next thirteen Sunday nights, and b) it’s time for another slew of awkward, lazy ‘Sopranos’ references and comparisons in the media. From page one of today’s NYT:
