Has Charlie Sheen Jumped On The Birther Bandwagon?

He may just be trolling for more attention, but last night at the D.C. performance of his Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour, Sheen hinted at allegiance with the right wing fringe’s latest lunatic cause. From FOX News:

Sheen went after President Barack Obama, questioning the validity of his birth certificate, while toying with his own ideas about running for office.

“For starters, I was f**king born here, how about that? And I got proof! Nothing Photoshopped about my birth certificate,” Sheen said.

According to the [Washington Post], Sheen’s comments brought cheers from the 3,700-seat venue in Washington, D.C.

Frankly, we can’t imagine a more appropriate spokesman for the Birther movement.
