Hef’s Creative Solution to Playboy Cover Snafu

Crystal Harris called off her marriage to Hugh Hefner five days before the wedding, but not before the July issue of Playboy mag featuring her as “Mrs. Crystal Hefner” had gone to press.

The world’s most famous editor-in-chief has proved as adept at marketing his break-up as he was his nuptials. He had a sticker reading “RUNAWAY BRIDE IN THIS ISSUE” affixed to the cover of the magazine, which hit newsstands today. It’s sure to become a collector’s issue.

For an 85-year-old, Hef had proved particularly adept at using socal media. Twitter has been his preferred method to communicate with the public about the break-up. He’s been keeping his followers up to date on the many playmates who are stopping by the mansion to offer their “support.”
