Pitch High Word Counts to High Times

hightimesmagazine.jpgAlthough marijuana is certainly celebrated in High Times, this pub is looking for serious feature articles that go beyond just a writer’s love for purple haze. Stories should be fresh (no pun intended) and most importantly, long, giving freelancers the opportunity to jump straight into the feature well.

“I have to stress that we are looking for freelancers who can write 2,000- to 4,000-word feature length articles that tell a story,” editor-in-chief Chris Simunek said. “I want somebody to have an idea that is interesting, maybe a bit edgy, not necessarily run-of-the-mill and a different perspective. And, if it has something to do with the drug culture of today, it’s a big plus.”
