Matt Taibbi’s Ode to the Fact Checker
Rolling Stone‘s Matt Taibbi was recently named one of Huffington Post’s “Game Changers.” During a HuffPo celebration last week for recipients of the “Game Changer” moniker, Taibbi spent his time praising RS fact checkers for allowing him to feel confident enough to push the envelope with his reporting.
Hear, hear. Although we should mention that fact-checkers exist in the blogging world too. Trust us, there’s no shortage of angry trolls out there willing to double-check your work, free of charge, and email you to let you know you’re an idiot, or a douchebag, if you screw something up.
