Joel Stein Chat Miserable Failure

Just when you thought that Joel Stein could not be humiliated ever again…..

Mike Schneider alerts us the the chat that never was. Remember when Stein threw down the gauntlet and challenged the blogitopians to a duel? No, we don’t either, but evidently there was a contest, and the LA Times misjudged Stein’s popularity once again, and decided a live chat was just the ticket.

The moderator logged off after 15 minutes, which is about 12, 13 minutes longer than we would have lasted. Can’t Tribune force employees to participate or would that be a contract violation?
