Keith Olbermann Back On ‘Countdown’ Tuesday

Keith Olbermann‘s controversial indefinite suspension without pay will end Tuesday, MSNBC announced Sunday night. Olbermann was suspended by MSNBC on Friday over political contributions he’d made to Democratic candidates in violation of network policy. It wasn’t a terrifically popular move with viewers and free speech advocates alike. Probably why just two days after the suspension of Olbermann, MSNBC president Phil Griffin said the following:

After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night’s program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy.
