Kristin Gore’s Second Novel Out in July

Kristin Gore, daughter of Tipper and Al, gets the kitty-lick treatment from Deborah Solomon in the NYT. Solomon who, like so many others, seems to think that a week long gig at Saturday Night Live is somehow significant.
Gore’s no dummy, no fool–why not ask her some real questions? Examples: Do you think you’ve received special treatment as the child of a famous person? How do you separate your own achievements from those of your father? But Solomon doesn’t even try.
Gore has written a sequel, Sammy’s House, to Sammy’s Hill, her first roman a clef DC novel, which garnered good reviews and a movie deal with David O. Russell to direct.
LA Observed linked to an interview in Women’s Health but failed to notice the tense. Gore worked on Futurama, which has been off the air since 2003.
