Everyone wants to get into the act–no sooner did LA Times publisher David Hiller announce his ripe-for-mocking Manahttan Project, than suggestions on how to revive the LA Times were flying. John Walter wrote to Romenesko with some ideas:
1. Go out in street, see news, write it up.
Kevin Roderick wonders why no women are on the team.
And the NY Times reports that the bomb-makers, uh, investigative team are already at work:
Those on the project in Los Angeles said they were already mulling several ideas. They include creating new sections; adding columnists and using citizens to “report” on local matters; and expanding the paper statewide.
FBLA thinks the LA Times needs a real gossip column, but then we would, wouldn’t we?
