LA Weekly, Los Angeles Magazine Nominated for James Beard Awards

The prestigious James Beard Foundation announced its annual award nominations for food journalism and writing. No surprise, LA Weekly‘s Jonathan Gold is on the list–nominated for best food-related feature and for the “M.K. Fischer Distinguished Writing Award.” Gold is also on the list of the “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America” inductees.

Los Angeles magazine’s Patric Kuh earned himself a nomination for the “Craig Claiborne Distinguished Restaurant Review Award” as well as a nod for the M.K. Fischer award for his writing in Saveur.

Several LA institutions also made the cut for the foundation’s restaurant awards. Check out the nominees in all the various categories here.
