In our dreams, perhaps one day FishbowlLA could grow into a much larger multimedia concern called FishBowl Worldwide Media. The only problem with this scenario: there is already such an enterprise and today they’re making YouTube news.
The “next generation studio” founded by America’s Funniest Home Videos creator Vin Di Bona and Bruce Gersh is wading back into familiar AFV territory with Petsami, a new YouTube channel showcasing the hijinks of felines, canines and more. From today’s press release:
Carrie Ann Inaba will serve as executive producer on an upcoming series involving cats that has a philanthropic twist. Celebrity trainer and animal advocate Laura Nativo serves as creative director of the Petsami platform…
Among the unique animal personalities launching their own shows on Petsami are: Tibs, the channel ambassador; Sabin, a Nepalese tiger with “wild animal” advice; KlipKat, a brilliant genius in the field of cleverly destroying things; Zach, the pup who is too cute and lets everyone else know it; Miley, Zach’s kitty counterpart; and Ivanna Iguana, football fan and gecko bully.
And let’s not forget Monkey, the pet of Emmy Award winning reporter Lu Parker. He’s hosting Leash Line , a program executive produced by his owner.
