Laurie David and Larry David Splitting Up

Page 6 is reporting that Laurie and Larry David are separating after 14 years of marriage.

Laurie recently toured with Sheryl Crow to publicize the dangers of global warming and got Larry to drive a Prius on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Bet he writes a Ferrari into the next season.

He’s worth some $250 million. They have homes in LA and Martha’s Vineyard, (remember his tiff with Architectural Digest?) and in 2004, he told Eric Alterman for a piece on Hollywood fundraising in The Atlantic:

I heard nothing about the environment for all our lives and now this. I wish she would at least take back her own name.

That’s not going to happen. Larry David’s such the professional curmudgeon that it’s hard to tell when the joke stops.
