Layoffs At Evite

Evite laid off nine of its 38 employees as part of a reorganization by its parent company, IAC, paidContent reported.

Among those affected were general manager Rosanna McCollough and vice president of marketing Lariayn Payne.

After hearing about the layoffs, we felt a pang of guilt when RSVPing to a birthday party via Evite rival Socializr. Evite will always be our first choice for events when inviting folks too %#$@! stubborn to join Facebook.
