The Los Angeles Times has shifted Leslie Brenner over to the ill-fated Sunday magazine, and restored Michalene Busico to the Food section, which is great, great news for food writers and those who like to read about food, cooking, and such in Los Angeles.

Buscio might want to check out Brooke Burton’s new blog, Food Woolf, if she’s looking for a local replacement for Regina Schrambling, which we pray she is. We also hope she restores the Great Home Cooks feature.

The Knife is running local favorites by local bloggers, which is a great idea for a feature, too.

Sherry Stern is also moving to the magazine, as acting managing editor, but will remain as a deputy editor of Features, so that uninspired dreariness can continue throughout the entire paper, with no interruptions.
