Matt Coker Leaves The OC Weekly. Heads North.

Yet another longtime OC Weekly staffer is moving out. Per LA Observed:

“After 11 years at this damn fine paper, I am heading north to become the editor of the Sacramento News & Review. I want to make it clear that my departure has nothing to do with Ted’s arrival nor the shenanigans involving others who have left the Weekly. The timing just happened to work out that way. I had no intention of pursuing the N&R position after the first feelers came my way, but they pursued me pretty hard and ultimately wore me down. I am very excited about my future, very certain that OC is going to remain a great paper and — hell — if I flop, would someone please hire me?”
