Movieline Has Found Something Else Tragic About Community

We’ve been coping with the fact Community with Joel McHale and Chevy Chase misses all of its marks. This has been very hard on us. We think Dr. Ken or Ken Jeong is one of the funniest people on the planet. So much talent. So much possibility.

And yet, Community stinks. It’s maudlin, cliche and lame. It’s the kind of show where the only charm is it can be easily translated into other languages. Yes, in South American Fran Drescher‘s The Nanny is huge.

We tried to like Community again last night. We gave it another chance. As we were watching it, we thought to ourselves,”Hm, the opening credits are pretty clever.”

And then a Movieline fan caught this. A (ahem) knife drawn through Nicole Brown? Very classy.

Get it? “Classy?” It’s a show about school. Huh? Yep, that’s still funnier than the show.
