Malibu Chronicle Gets Some Strange Love

Olivia Newton-John‘s daughter Chloe Lattanzi is making waves with a controversial new music video, “Play with Me.” It shows her committing willful suicide by immersing herself in a tub filled with electrical appliances.

But FishbowlLA was much more fascinated with the guy sitting on the toilet right next to her at the beginning of the video. Never mind the fact that he appears to still be in the middle of doing his business. What amazed us the most is that his attention is held by the newspaper he is reading, rather than by a girlfriend offing herself a few feet away.

So what manner of newspaper is this? That would be the Malibu Chronicle, an eight-year-old “divine blend of humor, art, life, and inspiration.” Whether editor-in-chief Paul Ruffman wanted it or not, he now has a bizarre endorsement of sorts, courtesy of some local celebrity offspring.
