The Onion Visits Historic San Francisco Bookstore
As part of its new pop culture video travel series Pop Pilgrims, the Onion A.V. Club moved up the coast from the LA church used for the famous wedding scene in The Graduate to City Lights, the historic San Francisco bookstore in business since 1953.
In addition to some great info from events programmer Peter Maravelis, the A.V. gang also got to chat with locally based author Daniel Handler, of Lemony Snicket fame. The series is a great example of synergistically sponsored web content, with the reporters tooling around in a vehicle by Fiat:
