Paris Hilton Sentence Unfair– LA Times

paris_85.jpg

Paris Hilton (seen above in happier times) is getting a raw deal, and the LA Times can prove it.

The Times analysis of jail releases found that more than 60 percent of those with similar cases to Hilton’s walked free after serving less than half their time.

Jack Leonard and Doug Smith (and some other people, no doubt) analyzed 2 million jail releases and found 1,500 cases since July 2002 like Hilton’s. Party-girl Paris will end up serving more time than 80 percent of the other fools caught in a similar web.

And Sheriff Lee Baca (who got a campaign contribution from Hilton’s grandpappy and is curiously friendly with certain cults) is said to soon be off for a little junket–advising the government of Turkey and security matters and such.
