Playboy Moving to Beverly Hills in 2012

And since we are on the topic of Playboy, Hugh Hefner‘s media company is packing up and moving to the former home of the Hilton Hotels Corporation in Beverly Hills, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Playboy will rent 45,000 square feet from Tishman Speyer and occupy a floor and a half of space at what’s now called the Office at Beverly Hills (9336 and 9346 Civic Center Drive). Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

The move to Beverly Hills, which should be completed by May 2012, is a serious consolidation for Playboy, as they currently rent more than 75,000 square feet of office space in Santa Monica and outside Glendale.

The new office will not only be home to Hefner but to writers, editors and the magazine’s photo studios.
