Quinn O’Toole Tapped to Head NPR West

Quinn O’Toole has just been named managing director of NPR West. He also picked up the dual title deputy national editor. O’Toole will oversee all of NPR’s coverage in the 12 western states. He’s largely already been performing this job since the departure of Phil Bruce several months ago. But NPR decided to make it official.

It looks like the move was a popular choice.

Hear that management-types–a few doughnuts go a long way. So does health insurance.

O’Toole has been with NPR West for three years. Before that he spent six years as a producer and senior editor of All Things Considered.
