Sam Zell: Tribune is Doing Really Well

Oh Sam Zell, so rich and just so rich.

Benzinga.com reports:

One of Zell’s major holdings is the Tribune Company which publishes The Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times. The company is currently in bankruptcy. Zell said that “Tribune is doing really well,” and he is optimistic about the company’s future. He added that Tribune could emerge from bankruptcy as early as the end of the first half of this year.

It seems like only last week there was another slaughter fest over there. Oh wait – it was last week. Well, you hack and chop and hack and chop in the hopes of being more profitable. Don’t know how that fits into the assessment of “doing really well.” But okay.
