Scientologist Leader Says Theresa Duncan Had Bizarre Delusions
Gothamist, for some reason known only to the “Ist” chain of blogs, has a Q & A with John Carmichael of the Church of Scientology.
The hapless poster, Jen Carlson, is getting grief from the readers. She slips in the expected Theresa Duncan/Jeremy Blake question, and gets a really revealing answer:
It’s especially tragic when creative people take their lives–their delusions were certainly bizarre.
Their delusions were bizarre? Thetans, Implants, Xenu and those blue uniforms aren’t a little on the, uh, fanciful side? All that aside, his organization does have its share of zealots.
(FBLA knew we did the right thing when we dropped out of a carpool with the Kidde family.)
