Scott Robson Bursts Out of The Envelope, Goes AOL

AOL LOGO.jpg
Scott Robson, founding editor of the LA Times’ The Envelope is bound for New York City, where he’ll be has editor-in-chief of AOL Movies and TV. Robson also honcho’ed the creation of the Tribune Company’s new Metromix sites that will roll out this summer. Tom O’Neil is waving a tiny white hankie as he writes:

He’s a crackerjack editor and ace guy gifted with huge talent, infinite patience and unquitting wit and smile. This awards expert decrees: Scott Robson gives, by far, the Best Performance by an Editor in Cyberspace. Period. There are no other nominees.

FBLA wishes Robson all the luck in the world, which he won’t need, as David Carr is off the awards beat. Maybe he can meet the folks at Eat the Press.
