Looks like it was a long day and night yesterday for the Slake crew. That’s co-editor Joe Donnelly passed out on the floor. But, according to the mag’s Facebook page, Slake’s second issue is officially off to the printer.

At around 3 a.m. this morning, Slake art director Alex Bacon hit the button and began uploading Slake No. 2 to our printer’s FTP site. It was the culmination of countless late nights at the Echo Park office performing final reads, designing every last page, and tucking in this beautiful baby for good. We can’t wait to show the city our efforts!

We’re told the issue won’t be back from the printer by holiday time, but gift subscriptions are available through the mag’s online store.
