Slate Gets Way Too Into Predator

The 1987 film Predator starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jessie Ventura – two ‘actors’ that went on to become governors of their states.

Now another cast member of the film (former porn actor) Sonny Landham has announced his candidacy to vie for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell‘s seat.

We think Slate is reading too much into the movie. It’s more of a coincidence than a pattern. Right?

Of course, if Carl Weathers usurps an incumbent LA County Board of Supervisor or something – we’ll stand corrected.
