We’re told when Balelo got out of jail he was distraught, and asked his fiancée to come over because he was afraid he might hurt himself.

We’re told they met at his office on Sunday, they talked for a few hours, he took a 4 hour nap — and when he woke up seemed better.

The fiancée left Balelo at the office Sunday evening. We’re told one of Balelo’s employees found his body Monday morning.

Hard to believe, but Celebrity Apprentice was greenlit before the WGA strike. And the “celebrities”? Trace Adkins, Carol Alt, Stephen Baldwin, Nadia Comaneci, Tiffany Fallon, Jennie Finch, Nely Galan, Marilu Henner, Lennox Lewis, Piers Morgan, Omarosa, Tito Ortiz, Vincent Pastore and Gene Simmons.

Omarosa to win in a final bout with Lennox Lewis. He’s too pretty to want to get beat up by her.

MTV gets Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew from Warner Horizon Television. The live weekly show is slated to premiere in first quarter 2008. Shot in Los Angeles, top hip-hop dance crews with face off each week.

A&E shot a pilot for Celebrity Garage Sales. Host Illeana Douglas helps her buddy celebs put on a garage sale, with all proceeds going to charity. Tom Arnold was the celeb in the pilot. Cuz who doesn’t want a piece of the magic?

New shows are popping up like toadstools after a downpour. Some are retreads, such as National Geo.’s Taboo, which promises to show various customs, practices and rituals from around the world that shock, pain, confuse or sometimes delight us. (If they delight us, why are they taboo?)
Seen this a zillion times before.

Mike Fleiss, the schlock-meister of schlock-meisters, has a deal at ABC, and offers up Dream Vote–6 people tell the audience why they deserve to have their dream–new house, breast implants, plasma TV–and the audience and eventually the viewers vote. It’s either Queen for a Day or a college admissions interview.

Women’s Murder Club
Based on the James Patterson novels, four women, a medical examiner, a reporter, a detective and a lawyer, track down murderers. Brett Ratner is EP/Director. And we all kow what that means.

Oddly enough, these two pilots aren’t about the same four women, but they could be.
