A Couple of SNL Alums Remember Chris Farley

Podcasts continue to be a boon for aficionados of stand-up comedy. Around every Internet corner are fabulous, extended reminiscences from comedians chatting (usually) with each other about the good and not-so-good old days.

The Battle For Chris Farley’s Website

THR Esq. has a great look at the battle over the rights to Chris Farley‘s online ghost empire. Make Him Smile, Inc., a company that claims to own the rights to Chris Farley’s estate, just a lost a court battle with a Bahama’s-based “cybersquatter” to take back the rights to Chrisfarley.com.

From THR Esq:

An arbitrator found that the alleged cybersquatter had no legitimate interest and had registered the domain in “bad faith.”

And yet, the cybersquatter still prevailed because Make Him Smile provided no evidence it received a valid transfership of Farley’s rights from his family.

This of course begs the question, does Make Him Smile actually have any legitimate right to Chris Farley’s estate? Or is this a case of two ghouls rummaging through Farley’s grave?
