It was the Nightline interview that reverberated across Hollywood. Last week, Corey Feldman made some wide-ranging accusations relating to his days as child star, suggesting that pedophilia is rampant in Hollywood and that an unnamed perpetrator was responsible for the death of his friend Corey Haim.

Today, the director of the Catholic League cries foul, telling LifeSiteNews.com that “the same mainstream media which hyperventilates over reports of a priest accused of a ‘boundary issue,’ such as kissing a girl on her head, seem to accept with aplomb Corey Feldman’s recent remarks about the prevalence of pedophilia in Hollywood.” But that’s not quite true.

This Corey Haim story could not get any sadder. Turns out he was living with his mother in the Valley while she was fighting cancer when he overdosed and died at 38. To add to that, his meager personal effects are on eBay to help pay to bury him.

The seller, who says they are one of his fellow cast members from the 1985 NBC movie of the week A Time to Live with Liza Minnelli writes:

I HAVE BEEN GIVEN MOST ALL OF COREY’S BELONGINGS TO PUT ON EBAY TO SELL FOR THE FAMILY TO PAY FOR HIS FUNERAL EXPENSES. COREY HAD NO SAVINGS AND HIS FAMILY IS REALLY IN NEED !

Corey Haim, 80′s teen heart throb died in Burbank this morning. The details of his death are still unclear, AP is reporting an overdose. Haim struggled with drug addiction for his entire adult life. We won’t even mention his A&E reality show career. We’ll just say that in the 80′s he was the cuter of the two Coreys, starring in The Lost Boys and License to Drive.
