Reality sensations June Shannon and Alana Thompson, better known as “Mama” and “Honey Boo Boo” are in town and paid Jimmy Kimmel a visit on Monday night.

During their interview, the pageant star from McIntyre, Ga. endorsed President Barack Obama over Mitt Romney, securing the vote of the 5-9 demographic.

Instead of another season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in Georgia, tell me you wouldn’t want to see this family living in the middle of Beverly Hills. It would be reality gold.

You’re going to have some more competition starting in January.

ABC will move Jimmy Kimmel Live! to 11:35 p.m. starting on Jan. 8, going directly head-to-head with NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno and CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman.

“Given the passionate fan base ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ has built over the past decade, and the show’s ratings and creative momentum this season, the time is right to make this move,” Anne Sweeney, co-chair of Disney Media Neworks and president of the Disney/ABC Television Group, said in a statement.”

Nightline will move to 12:35 a.m. and get a new Friday prime time show starting on March 1.

“Thanks to all for the kind words re. our move to 11:35 in Jan. I feel like a real life Princess,” Jimmy Kimmel tweeted on Tuesday.

Local guys with ponytails had to be cringing when the surveillance photo of 24-year-old Hollywood arson suspect Harry Burkhart surfaced earlier this week.

ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel addressed the topic of men with ponytails during his opening dialogue Tuesday, and of course there was one audience member that was guilty of this hair faux pas.

Thanks to peer pressure from the crowd, Kimmel convinced the guy to let Guillermo cut his ponytail on the spot.

Good choice, my man.

November 17th marks the 2nd annual “National UnFriend Day,” or NUD, a holiday invented by Hollywood’s own Jimmy Kimmel Live. Last night the show took the celebration to a new level with the video below, because as Kimmel himself said, “No holiday is a real holiday until it has it’s own Peanuts special.”
