The media formula at Internet search engine firm MyLocalBuzzTV.com is pretty simple: attractive female host + privileged LA enclave. There are already shows covering Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Silver Lake and Burbank. Now, the hyper-local goodies company has added one for a larger, aggregate area.

West LA 2Day is hosted by Brittany Bell (pictured), a 2010 Miss Arizona and 2011 Miss Studio City. Here’s how company CEO Justin Beckett describes the firm’s newest weekday run-through:

“We combined the best elements of TV shows like Eye On LA, Access Hollywood and Talk Soup, with “Groupon-esque” type daily deals to create a three and a half minute, daily program that will provide those interested in the west Los Angeles area with an entertaining snap shot of relevant information, events and deals.”

What the heck is MyLocalBuzzTV, you ask? It’s a burgeoning, Culver City based broadcaster of small business promo videos, which are packaged as newsmagazine content and beamed out to the web and social media via geographically themed channels for West Hollywood, Silver Lake, and more.

Things must be going pretty well for the nascent company, because they have just announced the hire of Ron Cassel as senior producer. Cassel was previously with Sky Radio, a two-decades old company that provides in-flight entertainment programming to most of the major airlines. Per the press release:

“MyLocalBuzzTV is uniquely positioned for success and I am very excited to be a part of a company which in many ways represents an extension of the type of programming that I have been working on over the last few years,” stated Cassel.
