Radio Hosts Gear Up for Full Season of TV’s Dish Nation

Rehearsals started this week in Studio City for Dish Nation, KTTV FOX 11′s mash-up of celebrity news. Following a limited 2011 test run, the program is scheduled to return to the airwaves September 10  at 12:30 p.m. /6:30 p.m weekdays in SoCal and at various other times on Fox stations across the country.

The interchangeable sets of featured radio show teams include DJ Laz and his KXOL 96.3 FM morning show sidekick Liliani Gonzalez. Both recently relocated to the west coast from Miami.

Entertainment Reporter Jonathan Hyla to Be Beamed Aboard U.S. Navy Ships

It’s not every day that a nationally syndicated weekend radio program expands its reach by 178 countries. But that’s the case with “The Hollywood 5,” a countdown of the biggest celebrity stories of the week produced out of Irvine, Texas.

Thanks to a deal with American Forces Radio and Television Services (AFRTS), the program hosted by morning radio show personality Kidd Kraddick with contributions from LA-based journalist Jonathan Hyla (pictured) will be made available to military personnel in 178 countries as well as on all U.S. ships at sea. This is the second time Kraddick’s Yea! Network has connected with overseas forces:

“When we partnered with American Forces Network to deliver the morning show, I was honored to know we would be bringing a small measure of fun and a sense of home to their day,” said Kraddick. “Now we’re teaming with AFN once again to take “The Hollywood 5” to our soldiers and their families and provide them with some weekend entertainment as well.”
