Michaela Apruzzese has been named associate publisher, entertainment, of The Hollywood Reporter and will oversee entertainment industry advertising across the brand’s platforms. She will assume her post in early June and report to publisher Lori Burgess.

Apruzzese now serves as the director of movie advertising for Los Angeles Times Media Group.

The seasoned Lori Burgess has been named as newbee publisher at The Hollywood Reporter.

Burgess was previously publisher of OK! Magazine since October 2008. There, she dramatically enhanced the brand’s profile in Hollywood and made it one of the industry’s top ad revenue performers. Prior to joining OK!, Burgess was senior V.P., Publishing Director at luxury publisher Niche Media. Under her leadership, the company grew from four to 16 magazines (including Gotham, Hamptons and Los Angeles Confidential) in 10 markets.
