Earlier we reported that the National Enquirer is leading the journo pack on a story about an alleged affair by John Edwards.

Well, now Franklin Ave. notes that if that affair actually happened, it happened in front of 30 million reporters (give or take a few) who were staying at the hotel for the Television Critics Association Press Tour.

Franklin Ave. seems to take umbrage with Edwards gall, but we’re more annoyed at our media brethren. A whole hotel of reporters whose job it is to watch TV and the only people to “catch” Edwards is the National Enquirer? Sigh. Well, I hope your interviews with Teri Hatcher were worth it.

Longtime USA Today entertainment columnist Will Keck makes his move to TV Guide to become the senior editor of the mag’s Hollywood bureau.

Keck’s first assignment for the mag will be to cover the TCAs.
