Symposium: Rebooting California
Full disclosure: we like anything that’s called “symposium.”
REBOOTING CALIFORNIA: a symposium
Be better equipped to cover California Politics – enjoy a full day of informative panels at Loyola Law School on Friday, September 24th. Experts explore how to fix what’s wrong with the Golden State.
Again California finds itself in paralysis: No budget. A divided legislature. Initiative measures that cost taxpayers millions.
The Los Angeles Press Club is proud to co-sponsor a free, Loyola Law School all-day symposium that seeks answers: “Rebooting California: Initiatives, Conventions & Government Reform.”Panelists are also expected to explore a possible constitutional convention.
Participants include Robert Hertzberg, Shiela Kuehl, Sherry Bebitch Jeffe, Raphael Sonenshein and former Gov. Gray Davis. Moderastors include KCRW’s Warren Olney, Sacramento Bee’s Dan Walters and NPR’s Karen Grigsby Bates
Loyola Law School, this Fri. Sept. 24, 9a-5:45pm. FREE.
