Janice Min Tweets Out Her Fall Book Tour

Janice Min is no dummy. With a new book to promote, the editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter has finally started to make use of a personal Twitter account (@janicebmin) that lay dormant for many months.

Min officially joined the Twitter revolution September 17, one day before the release of her beauty tips compendium How to Look Hot in a Minivan:

From there, Min quickly moved on in NYC to Wendy Williams and Inside Edition, accompanied by her third, newborn child Lila. More recently, it was back to the east coast for an appearance on Rachael Ray, followed by an LA sit-down with The Talk gang. And so on.

Former Seacrest Intern Gets National Radio Show

Tim Mihalsky, a native of Thousand Oaks, would schlep over that hill everyday to get coffee and answer phones for Ryan Seacrest. That was five years ago. “I used to watch Ryan and Ellen talk all morning long and thought, ‘I could do that’ and I now I am,” Mihalsky tells FishbowlLA.

The now 24-year-old built his radio show from the ground up, called advertisers and markets himself offering them his original daily content. And now FoxRock Syndication Services has Tim’s show on their roster.

The lesson here: Never give up and always be nice to your interns. They may have a national platform one day.

Congrats Tim! Here’s a link to his site.

Current TV Takes on Wendy Williams

Wendy Williams is still on the air. Crazy. Isn’t Jerry Springer‘s show in it’s 120th season?

Day-time television is like a lava lamp. It changes, yeah, but not really.

Welcome To The New Black Bar: The Bleep Photo

kitten.jpg

A spokesperson for Fox got back to us about the kitten with spaghetti photo that had a cameo on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. The clip made it’s way onto The Soup. They thought it was hysterical. We thought it was a mistake.

The spokesperson said,”What you saw was our new bleep photo. When someone says something inappropriate we’re going to use something like that. You’re going to see a lot more of those in the future.”

Bleep photo? The future? That isn’t distracting. That isn’t trivializing for a news show. They’re literally going to have dancing monkeys in lieu of a curse word – a cross word – a word?! The future just got a lot dimmer…and suddenly it looks a lot like LOLcats.
