Ted Kennedy Dead at 77

Senator Ted Kennedy died last night after a battle with brain cancer. He was 77 years old.
The LA Times obit is here. The NY Times is here.
Our colleagues Jason Boog at GalleyCat and Matt Van Hoven at AgencySpy interviewed Politico.com staff writer Michael Calderone on Blog Talk Radio about Kennedy’s death. Listen here.
There is a lot to say about the Senator; his family, his values, his convictions. Our favorite tribute and perhaps how we all would want to be remembered is from Karl Frisch, a senior fellow at Media Matters, minutes after the news of Kennedy’s death was announced wrote on Twitter, “I met Ted Kennedy as a young conservative at 17 on the Hill. The only Senator who took a min to chat when I recognized him on the street.”
Rest in peace, Senator.
