The Advocate Quickly Fills Open Editor-in-Chief Spot

Only days after the departure of former editor-in-chief Jon Barrett, who left to become Entertainment Weekly‘s new LA bureau chief, Pink Paper is reporting that The Advocate has already filled Barrett’s open spot. Matthew Breen has been promoted as the new editor-in-chief of the mag. Breen was formerly The Advocate‘s executive editor and has been with the mag’s parent company Here Media for quite some time. Prior to his tenure at The Advocate he was executive editor of Here Media‘s Out magazine.
