The Media World’s Top Tweeters
Over at The Wrap, Dylan Stableford has compiled a list of the top tweeting media outlets in America. On the magazine side, People leads the way with 2,209,969 followers. Time is a close second with 2,208,819.
For a little context, Ashton Kutcher has 5,951,279. Yikes.
On the newspaper side, the New York Times leads the way with 2.6 million followers. The Wall Street Journal is next with 464,591. Stableford doesn’t mention it, but the LA Times only has 85,677, clearing up any lingering confusion about the newspaper’s clout in the new media world.
