The Hollywood Reporter’s Victoria Gold and Beth Deutschman have just been promoted vice president of entertainment and vice president of television & media respectively. Both will report to publisher Lynne Segall.

“With the promotion of Victoria and Beth into senior leadership roles, we will be putting even more emphasis on our core business — motion pictures and television,” Segall said in an announcement on the trade’s website, “both of which have seen significant year-over-year increases in trade and consumer ad programs for both our print and digital platforms.”

THR also announced that associate publisher Craig Hitchcock will be leaving the trade “to pursue other opportunities.”

The moves come in the wake of Sharon Waxman’s report that THR is having serious financial struggles–a claim the trade denies.
