THR: ‘Jeff Dunham’ Not Being Renewed For Second Season

jeff_dunham222.jpgWe don’t usually sigh in relief when people lose their jobs. But…damn this one is tough. The Jeff Dunham show was…how can we put this diplomatically – 1989 cruise ship comedian hacky – but with puppets.

Anyway, THR’s Jim Hibberd reports the word is there are no plans to give the show another season. Which gives us hope for all the witty and well-written puppet acts out there. Cough.

The debut of The Jeff Dunham Show was watched by more people than any other show in the network’s history. Oh how fall the dummies have fallen.
