TNT’s New Series Only Good For One Reason
As HBO and Showtime have dominated the TV series areas with “The Sopranos” and “Weeds” and even AMC has created the award-winning “Mad Men,” TNT is getting in on the act with a the new series “The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice” premiering Sunday on the cable network.
Apart from being a low-rent Indiana Jones knockoff starring Noah Wylie as said librarian, the cable film really had only one incredible line.
Bob Newhart (yes, that Bob Newhart), playing the leader who sends the Librarian on his quest, at one point becomes very-Ninja-like, kicking the asses of about a dozen bad guys. He then says: “Does anyone else wanna piece of me?”
That definitely deserves a “Hi, Bob.”
