Tribune Bankruptcy Reactions

As you may have heard, the Tribune Company has officially filed for Chapter 11.

FBLA talked to one anonymous LAT staffer and the conversation went like this:

FBLA: Dude, I hope my check clears.
LAT Staffer: Now you know what it’s like to be here.

The scribe went on to say,”For people that make their living by the written word – what can you say? How many words are there for uncertainty and ambivalence?”

Mark Barabak told FBLA, “As far as I’m concerned it’s just another day at the office. I’ve got a story I’m writing for later this week, another aimed for this weekend and I plan to head out of town on a third story next week. Those were my plans as of this morning, and those are my plans as of this afternoon.”

What’s the opposite of alarmist? Stoic? Composed? Barabakian?
