EXCLUSIVE: A Sneak Peek at TV Guide Magazine’s 2011 Hot List

It’s going to be a fun night at the Greystone Manor on Monday when TV Guide magazine officially reveals the names on its fourth annual “Hot List.” To whet your celebrity appetite, FishbowlLA can exclusively reveal a couple of the playful compilation’s honorees.

First off, it’s not like a tall, dark and handsome Ukrainian Latin ballroom dancing champion needs any more leverage with the ladies, but as of November 7, Maksim Chmerkovskiy will have it (or at least the makings of a cool new vanity CA license plate). The Dancing with the Stars hunk and partner this fall to soccer star Hope Solo is this year’s “Hot Body.”

Meanwhile, for the category of “Hot Smarts,” it’s a two-way Big Bang Theory tie between show co-stars Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik. What a pleasure to see a former child star, Bialik, making headlines without an accompanying mugshot or court date. “The smart-is-sexy notion conjures up collegiate women with their shirts open in Esquire” Bialik explains in a to-be-published TV Guide magazine companion interview. “That’s not the kind of smart-sexy I like to do.”

In what must have been a very fun conference room lunch session (or two), “Hot List” names were chosen by the publication’s editorial team based on which TV shows are doing well in the ratings and getting buzzed about on social media.
