You know college football is right around the corner when billboards featuring the opposition start popping up in each other’s neighborhood.

A USC billboard went up on Westwood Boulevard and Lindbrook Drive featuring USC quarterback and Heisman Trophy favorite Matt Barkley with the words “WE PLAY TO FINISH.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, it’s one of 30 billboards that are featured throughout Los Angeles.

Well, make that 29.

After the LAT article hit the website, Chris Foster tweeted the Westwood billboard of Barkley was removed.

Guess people get touchy when you lose 50-0 to the crosstown rival.
